We build what we love, and we love what we do.
From the biggest ideas to the smallest details, we believe that listening to and collaborating with our clients leads to building the dream; outstanding projects that our clients love as much as we do.
Since our beginnings in 2004 we have unwaveringly focused, with a zealous attention to the detail, on building homes to suit our clients’ lifestyles. These homes are dreams come to life. Our zeal has driven our growth from a small team of 8, to a partnership of over 60 staff, operatives and consultants, leading the way across the South West in custom new build projects.
Our in-house team means projects become a reality in a seamless, efficient way that just would not otherwise be possible. It also means managing large-scale, ambitious projects is right up our street.
Whilst our home will always be Bristol – a city that has brought us some uniquely challenging projects (just the type we thrive on) – the South West and South Wales is our backyard; with all its incredible architectural diversity. Our longevity has enabled us to develop strong relationships with the Bristol and South Gloucestershire planning and conservation bodies. Pretty helpful when we need to expedite issues that often come up in the course of a project.
Our Dedication, our Philosophy
The Best of the Best
When it comes to architecture, design and building we are a passionate bunch and the fruits of our dedication are ultimately revealed in the quality of our work. Our unswerving use of the finest materials, a highly skilled team and practiced craftsmanship come together to create homes that our clients love and that have delivered us a reputation for excellence that we are quietly very proud of.
We specialise in barn conversions and renovations, as well as design & build projects, and we work extensively in Bristol, the South West, Gloucestershire and Wales. Our Managing Director has written Building The Dream: A Guide to Barn Renovations & Conversions, a beautiful coffee table book that takes the reader through the journey of choosing, planning and renovating a barn, with sections on types of barns, legislation, in-build considerations, decorating and interior design.

Daniel Arathoon – Managing Director
Daniel is the driving force behind Bespoke’s determination for high quality workmanship. He started in the trade at 16 years old, when he realised most people were not getting the quality they deserved. Daniel went on to create Bespoke with a determination to build beautiful houses, and will proudly say that we are not the cheapest but we will be the best quality.
He works closely with all our new clients to ensure that we have a clear idea of their vision for the completed home, whether it is a luxury barn conversion, eco-friendly home or a commercial joint venture.
In early 2017, Daniel launched ‘Building the Dream, A Guide to Barn Renovations & Conversions’. The book channels Daniel’s passion for barn conversions and offers a comprehensive look at the process of creating your dream home. If you want to start building your own dream home, find out more about his barn conversion book or order a copy now on Amazon.
Away from work, Daniel loves to cook for his wife and 3 children at their home where he perhaps thinks he’s a better cook than he probably actually is.
