Bespoke’s 2018 Highlights
Bespoke’s 2018 Highlights
Designing, constructing and renovating properties is what drives the team at Bespoke, and with 2018 now in the rear-view mirror, we can say for certainty that last year was a tremendous one.
We worked on countless projects, bringing visions to life for clients large and small. Some were designed with eco-credentials in mind, whilst others involved sympathetically restoring stunning historic buildings to their former glory.
What each had in common, however, was a dedication to quality, craft and consistency. It’s the Bespoke way, but which projects typified those ideals in 2018? Join us as we share just a few of our highlights.
An Eco-Build in North Nibley
Eco-homes are the future of the housing industry across the world. They’re a necessary shift, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be beautiful and functional too.
This project in North Nibley was a true pleasure. Working alongside our client, we created a dream home that not only looks incredible but was designed to make the most of innovative eco-materials and processes.
Everything from reclaimed kitchen units, underfloor heating, locally sourced materials and a whole range of cutting edge eco products went into the project and we’re proud to say that our client was absolutely delighted with the resulting property.
A Barn Conversion in Usk
Barn conversions are a firm speciality of ours, but simply making a liveable space out of a barn isn’t enough. We want to make beautiful, highly-functional homes which will stand the test of time.
That’s why this barn conversion in Usk, Monmouthshire was so gratifying. A former hay barn at Llandowlais Farm, this Grade II listed building was transformed into a stunning 4-bed property by our talented in-house team and exceptional local craftspeople.
Built to the very highest specification, the barn is now a generous family home that’s set to provide joy for decades and decades to come.
A New Build Site in Ross on Wye
Last year we were honoured to create a row of new-build properties in the picturesque market town of Ross on Wye on Cantilupe Road.
These gorgeous country townhouses are just a short walk from local shops and restaurants and were lovingly designed by and built by Bespoke. A far cry from the low standards of many new build properties, our designs foregrounded a design sympathetic to its surroundings and quality we’re proud to put our name to.
A Building Restoration in Bristol
Although designing and building properties is our speciality, we also undertake a number of projects that fall within the bounds of renovation.
2018 saw us undertake a number of these projects, but few were as gratifying as our renovation of a Grade II listed Edwardian building within one of central Bristol’s conservation areas.
With a laundry list of restrictions and conditions, we set to work renovating and converting this beautiful building into a series of high-standard, luxury flats to service international students studying in the area.
2018 might be behind us, but 2019 is yet to be defined. To learn how you can become part of our 2019 story, get in touch today.
